9/10
Fun for the whole family... even with some adult humor tucked in nicely. Open to any audience and not dumbed down at all. Also, most sequels are typically not as good as the 1st but this movie was the exception.
Hilarious and an excellent cast of comedians. Sarah Silverman and John C. O Reilly are a great dynamic duo. Their roles are supportive and complimentary to each other in a way that gets deep at some points where there was an exploration of relationships and self-gratification. Overall, had a good message packaged in with a resolution that was well delivered.
Ralph and Vanellope break out of their arcade boxes and dive head first into the world of the internet. Neat-o interpretation too, seeing the physical universe as an arcade character stumbling through and exploring. They addressed most of what you would expect if you were walking through the streets of the internet... while also ensuring that it is 100% family friendly. The concept of the internet proposes endless opportunities. I thought it was especially entertaining to see Storm Troopers from Star Wars and Disney princesses.
